They would be so dumb. I mean, really, really dumb to trade Dez. It would be passing on Randy Moss 2.0. Dez would be ROTY had he not gotten injured. He could be the best Cowboy receiver since Irvin. A solid receiver is something they lacked when going through guys like Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton, Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn, etc. They had some good moments with TO, but Dez could be a big piece there for the future.

Haha.
I don't think even a first rounder could fill in for Dez, he's not your average rookie.

No. Dez is a freak athlete. Hes bit of a nutcase, but he was only a rookie last year and has time to work it out if you get the right people around him, which i believe the Cowboys have under Garrett. He was unstoppable in the final few weeks of the season before he went down with a season ending ankle injury. Keep him.

I don't know, some of the stories surrounding Dez are pretty bad.. but a lot of the sources are biased. If they are true, I wouldn't be against trading him when his value is the highest rather than having a public breakdown later and get little back.

The Vikes should have kept Randy instead of trading him to oakland.

Jason Garrett can set him straight. Not like Wade Philips who allowed basically anything to happen and didn't do nothing about. Roy Williams is the one who needs to get traded now before his value dips way down, as it is bad enough already. He compared himself to Micheal Jordan in a way, I will have to find the quote. But he is a nutcase.

Wide receiver is the most expendable position in football. It really doesn't matter who is catching the balls as long as the guy throwing them does it well. Of course the top talents are better than others, but in my opinion it just isn't worth it if a guy opens his mouth too much.

Jets WRs for opening day last year: 1) Jerricho Cotchery 2) Chansi Stuckey 3) David Clowney Jets WRs for last sunday: 1) Santonio Holmes 2) Braylon Edwards 3) Jerricho Cotchery and trust me there was a huge difference. You can't create talent out of thin air. I don't think the diva ones are worth it though.

at the same time, look at what the jets used to get those receivers. basically nothing. talent doesn't come from thin air, but there's plenty of it in the league. if dallas feels like he's hurting the team, i don't think his talent would keep them from making a move. if anything, they'd keep him because of trade value.
but as i've said before, he's not going anywhere. he may be a diva, but the perfect place to be a loud-mouth wide receiver is in the heart of texas.
